Fasting log: Day 8
I'm dyyyyyyiiiinnnnngggggg!
Just kidding! I am happy to report that this hasn't been as bad as I was preparing myself for. And, I'm not even hungry anymore. In fact, the last couple of days I have been forcing myself to eat just to avoid getting headaches again since the first few days were rough.
I don't think I have drank all 5 Boost drinks once these last 8 days, and I certainly am not eating 4-5 cups of vegetables, but at least 3 in salad form. I made a few hot vegetable options but none were appetizing so I'm going to stick to salads for the rest of this fast.
I've been battling some pretty bad anxiety as well but I can't say for sure if the diet has anything to do with that or not since it's not the first rollercoaster I have found myself on in the last few months.
While I am not hungry, I AM hangry! I have cravings that I cannot do anything about, and it's frustrating. It's one thing if I'm craving chips or chocolate cake, but I've literally been craving healthy options that I'm simply not entitled to on this diet. This too shall pass, but I can't tell you how good a spoonful of peanut butter sounds right now!
Less than a week of fasting left and then it's on to the losers bench! Speaking of which, I'm already down 10lbs! Unfortunately it was the same 10lbs I gained over the holidays ha ha
